Mechanical Skills Honors Grads
Among the 55 graduates of the Mechanical Skills Apprentice school were three who won special awards.
The Gene Shahan Apprentice of the Year Award went to Tyler Dowdy for the highest grade average in the 4th year, minimal absences, and all On the Job Training Hours submitted.
The Robert V. Hallam Outstanding Apprentice Award went to Nick Barber for the highest overall four year grade average, lowest four year accumulated absences, and all On the Job Training Hours submitted.
The Most Improved Apprentice Award went to Richard Smith for improvement over the four years.
The awards were presented by Board Chair, Laura Ciriello-Benedict at the Graduation program on May 19.
