Published: April 15, 2016

The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association (PHCC) and the PHCC Educational Foundation, in conjunction with the Congressional House Career & Technical Education Caucus, have an exclusive opportunity on April 27 to get in front of Congress to share real-life success stories on recruiting and retaining employees in the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) industry. This comes at a crucial time, with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimating that the industry will need more than 138,000 new plumbers and HVAC technicians by 2022.

John Bain, R.T. Moore, and Brenda Dant, Indiana PHCC Executive Director will be part of the five person panel making the presentation. They will talk about the workforce project and how it is attracting the 18-24 year old market in Indiana.
