John Bain Elected Indiana PHCC President

clientuploads/EXPO Convention 2016/John Bain Pres web.JPGJohn Bain, R.T. Moore, Indianapolis was installed as the 2016-17 Indiana PHCC President at the 2016 Convention in Belterra on Setember 23, 2016. 

John has spearheaded the Indiana PHCC Workforce Development Campaign and the brand www.thebestcareer4you.com.  In April he discussed the project in a roundtable on Capitol Hill and continues to oversee the project.  He was awarded the Indiana PHCC Contractor of the Year in 2015. 

John is a proven leader in many different aspects of the construction industry. As R.T. Moore’s EVP of Operations & Talent, his focus is on leadership of the plumbing and HVAC supply chains, warehousing and inventory operations; Indiana Residential Division; Human Resources; and, most importantly, ensuring that R.T. Moore continues to be the employer of choice for plumbing and HVAC professionals by acquiring and developing the best talent in the industry. Being a member of the company’s executive leadership team, John is responsible for supporting the execution of R.T. Moore’s strategic goals across all business lines.

John’s background includes working with large regional homebuilders with expertise in field construction, warranty service, purchasing, estimating, architecture, showrooms and operations. He worked his way from a field manager to VP of Purchasing and Construction and VP of Internal Operations. In addition to his experience in the construction industry, John has worked in the non-profit sector providing leadership over operations, finance, human resources, and missions for a large church; heading up energy management programs for a cooperative utility company; and, serving as Executive Director for Samantha’s House Foundation.

John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University.  He and his wife, Amy, have three children.
